| Plot |
| Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals) has a big dream. She wants to dance with a ballet company and achieve her dreams of becoming a top notch star. To get there, she finds herself in a welding job by day and dancing at a bar at night simply to make ends meet. Not wanting her to give up her dream, she finds support in both her boss, Nick Hurley (Michael Nouri) and in her dance instructor Hanna Long (Lilia Skala). Both see her inner strength and beauty and even after a failed try out attempt, she finally realizes that if she doesn't at least try, then no one will ever see what she is really made of. |
