| Plot |
| “Empire” is a story set in Rome about the time of 44 B. C. It is set along the backdrop of the assassination of Julius Caesar (Colm Feore). With his death, his adoptive son, Octavius (Santiago Cabrera) who is age 17 is named the new Caesar by the Roman Council. However this new ruler is not the envisioned future some of the ones who conspired against Julius had in mind for a new Rome. Led by Marc Antony (Vincent Regan) who challenges Octavius’ ruling of Rome, civil war erupts ending with a final confrontation between Octavius and Marc Antony in the Egyptian sands. |
