| Plot |
| “The Salton Sea” sees Danny Parker (Val Kilmer) thrust into a world where he is adrift in a sea of half-truths and nothing is any longer, as it seems. Along his trip of self discovery, Danny meets and befriends a slacker named Jimmy the Fin (Peter Sarsgaard) and is quickly roped into a plot to rescue his neighbor Colette (Debra Kara Unger) from her own inner turmoil. Along this daring rescue mission, Danny finds himself antagonized by Al Garcetti (Anthony Lapaglia) and Gus Morgan (Doug Hutchison) two narcotics agents as well as the sadistic Pooh Bear (Vincent D'Onofrio). Needless to say, Danny will either have to find himself or drown in this sea of surrealism. |
