| Plot |
| An Unfinished Life (2005) is a story about mistakes and redemption, about rejection and acceptance, and finally about whether you can ever let go of the need to blame someone else. Einar (Robert Redford) shares a ranch with his friend Mitch (Morgan Freeman), Mitch having sustained a significant injury is dependent on Einar, and the two men have a lengthy history and somewhat brusque friendship. Einar’s daughter-in-law Jean (Jennifer Lopez) and granddaughter Griff (Becca Gardner), a granddaughter he didn’t know until then, arrive having fled an abusive situation. The local sheriff Crane (Josh Lucas) and diner owner Nina (Camryn Manheim) help the family navigate their old mistakes and make a first attempt at reconciliation. |
