| Plot |
| In Bruges is the story of hit men, Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) who are stuck in Bruges, Belgium after difficulty with a recent job. They are ordered by their superior, Harry (Ralph Fiennes) to remain there through Christmas, and while they are there they enjoy the local tourist attractions. Ray, who is demonized by the complications of their last job, finds it difficult to enjoy Bruges, but his partner Ken finds inner peace in the serenity and history of the ancient city. This hilarious dark-comedy climaxes when Harry finally contacts them and a knock-down drag-out fight for survival takes place with mortality contrasted with cunning wit and humor. |
