| Plot |
| Tanzie (Hilary Duff) and Ava Marchetta (Haylie Duff) are sisters with everything a pair of Southern Californian golden girls could want thanks to their late Daddy’s cosmetics company. Daddy is gone but his money lingers on. The company is run by family friend Uncle Tommy Katzenbach (Brent Spiner) while the girls cheerfully reap the profits. When a scandal about one of the products causes the girls’ assets to be frozen Tanzie and Ava must not only learn to live like the rest of us but also fend off a take-over bid by rival Fabielle (Anjelica Huston). They survive thanks to the generosity of their former maid Inez (Maria Conchita Alonso) and investigate the situation with the help of low-rent attorney Henry Baines (Lukas Haas) and company chemist Rick (Marcus Coloma). |
