| Plot |
| "High School Musical" depicts the life of several teenagers in high school. Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) and Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) meet at a non-school function, and there are some sparks. However, once Gabriella transfers (unknowingly) to Troy's school, their romance cannot continue because they each belong to different "groups" who aren't accepting of the other. The movie follows what it is like to be in high school and have to fit the "Status Quo" (found on the soundtrack). By the end of the movie, all the characters realize it's being yourself that counts, and accepting everyone for who they are. |
