| Plot |
| Lt. Col. John Patterson (Val Kilmer) leaves his pregnant wife to go to Africa. He has been sent from his homeland of Ireland to build a trestle bridge to help expand the railways. Soon after arriving, Patterson kills a man-eating lion. He is hailed as a hero because of the numerous deaths this lion has caused. But the celebration soon stops when more deaths begin occurring. This is when an American hunter (Michael Douglas) is brought in to help hunt down the Tsavo lions. These men unite with a local tribesman to hunt down the lions before the entire project is destroyed. These men think up traps and they join in on hunts in trying to stop these lions from hurting and killing more people. |
