| Plot |
| Nim Rusoe (Abigail Breslin) is a young girl who along with her scientifically gifted father lives on a far away deserted island. Nim has a wild imagination and often times pretends she is playing and having adventures with her favorite hero, Alex Rover (Gerard Butler). When her father goes missing she calls upon Alex for help, and in a bizarre twist is met by Alex’s author Alexandra (Jodie Foster). The two convene and decide to summon all of Alex’s courage and strength and to search out her father, as well as conquer the mysteries of the island. Alone they cannot do this, but by working together and trusting in each other they have a great chance at finding Mr. Rusoe (Gerard Butler). |
