| Plot |
| A family in London. The brothers Ian (Ewan McGregor) and Terry (Colin Farrell) are two young men still living with their parents. Their father has a small restaurant, which has a little success; their mother is always comparing him to her brother, uncle Howard (Tom Wilkinson), who has a great success - he is a surgeon - and often help them all sending money. Ian works in the restaurant with his father, but he wants to enter house market in U.S.A.; Terry is a mechanic who dreams to open a sportive item shop. Ian and Terry buy a boat, whose name is Cassandra's dream; to get the money to do that Terry bets on horses and play cards. But Terry keeps on betting and he loses a lot of money, so when the uncle Howard come to visit them, the brothers ask him money. But uncle Howard has something to ask them too.... |
