| Plot |
| A time used to exist in which mental illness was not recognized and looked upon with disdain. This was the time that young Raimond (Kodi Smit-McPhee) was born. His father Romulus (Eric Bana) deeply loves his mother Christina (Franka Potente). She suffers greatly from depression which causes her to take flight from time to time. Not only is mental illness a problem for this family, they are also immigrants learning to survive in a new country. The love between Romulus and Christina is filled with struggles and hardships, yet the love they share for their son is a bond that will not be broken. |
