| Plot |
| "Open Water" (2003) was the story of a vacationing couple who ended up stranded in the Caribbean. Susan (Blanchard Ryan) and Daniel (Daniel Travis) are over worked and underappreciated back at home, causing distraction and tension in their relationship. This distraction is carried through when they embark on a scuba diving tour several miles out to sea. Daniel miscalculates when they should arrive back at the boat and, due to a bookkeeping error on deck, the boat leaves without them. Daniel and Susan are now stranded at sea, battling dehydreation, starvation, their overwhelming fear, and sharks. When their absence is finally noticed and their hotel room is found to be empty, a helicopter and boat search has begun to locate the missing pair. |
